Great work on your pamphlet presentations this week. I am very impressed with how hard you all worked and how much you learned about different ways to generate electricity and the impacts they all have on communities, both positive and or negative.
You must now answer the unit question as well as reflect on the competency goals for this unit. Below is the question and the competencies, please have your reflection ready for next class and be prepared to discuss your answers. Enjoy your weekend. You must have all your homework corrections done and hand in your duo-tang.
We are nearing the end of this unit and will be having a quiz on Wednesday. You will also have to answer our unit question and reflect on one of more of the competency goals laid out for this term. In your reflection, be sure to mention how you have built upon said competency and provide proof. Below is a photo of our unit goal and competency goals. For homework you need to have all of your corrections done for your recent homework as well as the quiz we had on circles. The duo-tang has to be handed in Monday.
You also have a reflection/journal entry to do. First, you must answer our unit question, then choose 1 (or more) of the competencies we were working on this unit and talk about how you feel you've improved upon that competency. Do not forget to provide proof in your reflection. Please complete all the odd number questions from the 'Unit 2' package. Reminder to get the missing page from Ms. Davis if you did not get one yesterday.
Reminder that tomorrow or Wednesday is your last day to work on your pamphlet. Division 20 I need your pamphlets handed in by Wednesday at the end of the day, Division 19, I need your pamphlets handed in by Thursday at the end of the day. I need them submitted electronically so that I can print them in colour before you present them to the class. Thank you.

Well done with our first outdoor classroom experiment! You all worked very well and stayed on task, even more so than when we are in class! Who would have known that sunshine would have such an affect.
For homework this weekend you were given a worksheet booklet. I would like you to do all of the even numbers. Thanks. Since a large portion of the class did not finish the homework, and I'm sorry for the post for the homework getting lost in the draft box, you have them for homework again and they are due on Thursday. That is the worksheets 8.7-8.9. We will mark them at the start of class Friday. You have a reflection question which is in the picture below.
